Location: Tonbridge

Salary: £55,000–£70,000 | Leadership & High-Value Caseloads

Are you an accomplished conveyancing professional looking to step up into a senior position?

Our client, a respected law firm in Tonbridge, is seeking a Senior Conveyancer to take on a pivotal role within their established team. You’ll enjoy a high-quality residential caseload, leadership opportunities, and a clear route towards further progression.

The Opportunity

Location: Tonbridge, Kent (office-based with flexible/hybrid working considered)

Salary: £55,000–£70,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You’ll handle complex transactions, mentor junior colleagues, and play a key part in the firm’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of high-value and complex residential conveyancing matters

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

  • Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds, and associated documentation

  • Conduct detailed title checks, searches, and due diligence

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm standards

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing (PQE or equivalent)

  • Extensive UK private practice background

  • Expert technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures

  • Proven ability to manage complex and high-value transactions

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Track record of client care and business development

  • Relevant legal qualification (Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent)
