Themis Reruit have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a top 50 Law Firm. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Employment Solicitor to join one of the biggest Employment departments in the East of England. The successful candidate will handle a variety of employment law matters, providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on both contentious and non -contentious issues. This role demands strong legal knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a client -focused approach.<\/span>

The role involves collaborating with Solicitors, Senior Solicitors, and Partners across various sectors, including education, health, energy, construction, transport, and private client/agriculture. Key areas of expertise include:
<\/p>

  • Transactional corporate support work
    <\/li>
  • Wrongful and unfair dismissal
    <\/li>
  • Redundancy and restructuring
    <\/li>
  • Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE)
    <\/li>
  • Restrictive covenants
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Employment litigation in the High Court, County Court, and Employment Tribunal
    <\/li>
  • Discrimination (including sex, race, disability, and age) and equal pay
    <\/li>
  • General employment issues, from maternity rights to contractual matters
    <\/li>
  • Service agreements, contracts of employment, and staff handbooks
    <\/li>
  • Employment policies, including performance, sickness and misconduct procedures, and maternity and parental leave schemes
    <\/li><\/ul>

    You will be responsible for advising and supporting clients on your own caseloads, with regular assistance from the team.

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • 4 years+ PQE gained within a strong regional, national or City firm.
      <\/li>
    • Strong academic background.
      <\/li>
    • A high attention to detail to produce work/ documentation which is consistently of a high standard.
      <\/li>
    • To have a flexible approach to work to ensure client deadlines are always met and clients are communicated with on a consistent and regular basis.
      <\/li>
    • Interest in business development.
