As an Audit Manager for this vacancy in Sevenoaks, you will be allocated your own client portfolio containing a mixed portfolio of company and charity audit clients, company accounts and taxation, as well as personal tax returns. Training can be provided as required. You will work among a team of managers where you will oversee a team, manage workflow and report directly to the partners.<\/span><\/span>

Main Duties and Responsibilities for this role:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

  • Planning and delivery of audit/accounts assignments <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Lead some large and complex assignments<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Review statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax computations<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Supervise junior staff during the audit and review their work <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Deliver the audit file to the partner in timely manner <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Identify cross -selling opportunities and potential management letter points <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Manage client communication in effective manner <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Monitor your chargeability and your assignment budgets pro -actively <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Coach other staff for improved performance and technical development <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Develop specialist sector knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Mentor audit & accounts trainees, contribute to the training and development programme<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    For this Audit Manager vacancy in Sevenoaks, you will be:<\/b><\/span><\/span>
    <\/div>
    • ACA or ACCA qualified with post qualification experience, or qualified by experience<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to apply audit standards through practical application <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of UK GAAP <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Practical knowledge<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> of the preparation of group accounts <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of IFRS would be useful but not essential <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience of both not for profit clients and corporate clients would be advantageous but isn't essential<\/span><\/span>
